Card show operations

Plan inventory, pack for a show, prepare Checkout and reconcile returns. Show commands use the Companion connection and cost zero research credits, but require an active or trialing Operations, Business or Managed account.

Workflow and example prompts

  1. Plan: "Save my October 24 show, capacity 150, with the location and audience interests I provide." Use save_show, list_shows and get_show.
  2. Select: "Recommend eligible cards between $5 and $50. Show why each fits." Use recommend_show_inventory. Review first; recommendations do not allocate stock.
  3. Allocate: "Apply the selection and per-card show prices I just approved." Use allocate_show_inventory. Show prices do not change online asking prices.
  4. Pack: "Show my packing list, locations and printable labels. Record these actual packed counts." Use get_show_packing_list and mark_show_packed. Full lists and labels are available through the returned show workspace link.
  5. Sell: "Open Checkout for the fully packed show. Prepare a transaction for these selected cards." Use open_show_checkout and prepare_show_sale. The customer reviews and completes payment through Checkout; preparation alone does not record payment.
  6. Reconcile: "Record these counted returns and compare them with recorded show sales." Use reconcile_show_inventory. Unresolved transactions or inventory discrepancies prevent balanced closing; discrepancy notes remain available for review.

Permissions and approval

Read commands need collection-read permission; mutations need collection-write permission. The seller must approve allocations and prices, explicitly request opening Checkout, and confirm packed and returned quantities. Inventory and Checkout eligibility checks apply to each card and transaction.

Free and lapsed accounts are excluded from show discovery in the current code and cannot execute show commands. Eligibility is checked again before each show action. See production verification status.
