About Pulltrader
What Pulltrader is, who it is built for, and how it differs from a marketplace or a cross-listing tool.
What is Pulltrader?
Pulltrader is selling infrastructure for trading card businesses — storefront, in-person POS, inventory, fulfillment, and a buyer marketplace in one system. List a card once and sell it across multiple channels.
Built for trading cards, not general retail. Scout handles identification and pricing; Fulfilled by Pulltrader can store, pack, and ship from a secure vault when you do not want to handle fulfillment yourself.
Link to this answerIs Pulltrader a marketplace?
Pulltrader includes a marketplace, but it is not only a marketplace. You also get a branded storefront, in-person POS, one inventory record, per-channel fulfillment, and distribution through CollectIQ and supported external channels.
On a standalone marketplace the platform usually owns the buyer. On Pulltrader you own the customer on your storefront and at the counter, and can still reach marketplace buyers when you want extra demand.
Link to this answerWho is Pulltrader for?
Pulltrader is built for trading card sellers who want to run a real business: local card shops, high-volume dealers, professional sellers, and sellers who already manage inventory across several channels. Growing independent sellers and collectors who are starting to sell also use it.
Buyers and collectors can use Pulltrader for free to browse and purchase from the marketplace and from seller storefronts. Selling features unlock with a paid plan.
Link to this answerHow is Pulltrader different from cross-listing software?
Pulltrader is the selling platform — storefront, POS, card-native pricing, marketplace, and optional fulfillment on one inventory record. Cross-listing software copies listings between marketplaces you still run yourself.
eBay and other external channels connect through integrations. When Pulltrader fulfills an external sale, it packs and ships too — something a cross-listing tool does not do.
Link to this answerHow does Pulltrader consignment work?
Consign your cards and Pulltrader handles the selling: intake, cataloging, channel selection, listing, auction management, buyers, fulfillment, and payout. Keep 85% of hammer on eBay auctions (7-day, starting at $0.99) or up to 100% of hammer on qualifying premium placements through ALT, Goldin, or Fanatics Collect. There are no submission fees. Individual cards, lots, and full collections are welcome.
All items are insured while in Pulltrader’s possession. If an unsold item is returned at your request, a $5 return fee applies per item. You can also run your own storefront and inventory separately if you prefer to sell under your own brand.

How to open an account, move existing inventory in, and choose a plan that matches how you already sell.
How do I get started with Pulltrader?
You can create a Pulltrader account for free and choose a seller plan when you are ready to list.
- Create your account and pick a plan that matches how you sell.
- Add inventory by scanning cards, uploading a batch, entering them individually, or importing from eBay or Shopify.
- Set your prices with help from CollectIQ, and choose where each item sells.
- Decide how orders are fulfilled: ship them yourself, or send inventory to Fulfilled by Pulltrader.
Business includes standard onboarding and product support. Managed adds a required 90-Day Managed Deployment, priority onboarding, implementation guidance, and direct access to Ryan and the Pulltrader team.
Link to this answerHow do I move my existing inventory into Pulltrader?
You can bring inventory in several ways. Scan cards with your phone, upload a batch of front-and-back photos for CollectIQ to identify and price, or add cards individually with full detail. If you already sell elsewhere, you can import.
- eBay: connect your seller account to import existing eBay listings into your Pulltrader inventory.
- Shopify (Coming soon): connect your store to import products and variants. The import is read-only, so your Shopify store is not modified.
eBay import is included with Business and Managed. Shopify Connect is coming soon.
Link to this answerWhich Pulltrader plan should I choose?

- Managed ($3,000/mo): Business plus 50,000 Scout Credits/month and a dedicated implementation team, starting with a required 90-Day Managed Deployment.
Buyers and collectors can use a free account to browse and purchase without a subscription.
Link to this answerStorefront and POS
Running a branded storefront and selling in person at shows, shops, and events on one shared inventory.
Do sellers get their own branded storefront?
Yes. Pulltrader Business and Managed include a standalone branded website on your own custom domain, connected to your Pulltrader inventory and orders.
Your storefront runs on the same inventory as every other channel, so a card listed once can sell on your store, at point of sale, on CollectIQ, and on external channels without duplicate listings. On your storefront you own the customer relationship and the analytics.
Link to this answerCan I sell trading cards in person with Pulltrader POS?
Yes. Pulltrader includes a digital point of sale for in-person selling at card shows, your shop counter, and events. The point of sale runs on the same inventory as your online channels, so a sale in person updates the same record.
The digital point of sale is included with Business and Managed. Card-present sales carry only the platform fee, and cash point-of-sale sales carry no fee at all.
Link to this answerWho owns the customer relationship on Pulltrader?
On your own storefront and at your point of sale, you own the customer relationship. Customer ownership and analytics are included with Business and Managed, so repeat buyers belong to your business.
On CollectIQ and on external channels such as eBay, the buyer comes through that channel, as is normal for any marketplace. Selling across channels lets you reach new buyers there while still building a direct customer base on your storefront.
Link to this answerCan a card shop use Pulltrader as its main system?
Yes. Business covers inventory, orders, a website on your domain, POS, vault and fulfillment access, analytics, and 5,000 Scout Credits/month. Managed adds 50,000 credits and a dedicated implementation team.
Online and in-person share one inventory, so you are not maintaining separate stock systems. Onboarding help is included to migrate inventory and set up workflows.
Link to this answerListing and Inventory
Listing methods, CollectIQ pricing, supported card types, and how one inventory record works across every channel.
How do I list cards on Pulltrader?
Three ways to add inventory — scan, bulk upload, or single listing. Scout prices cards against live market data in each.
- Scan: point your phone at a card — identification and current pricing pulled automatically.
- Bulk upload: photograph front and back, upload the batch, review Scout's identifications and prices.
- Single listing: add one card with full control over price, condition, parallel, PSA cert lookup, and other details.
What types of cards can I sell on Pulltrader?
Pulltrader supports trading card games such as Pokemon and Magic, as well as sports cards. The scan tool and CollectIQ pricing work across both trading card game and sports categories.
Single listings support PSA certificate lookup for graded cards. For questions about a specific set, category, or graded card, contact support before a large listing run.
Link to this answerWhat is CollectIQ?
CollectIQ is Pulltrader's buyer-facing marketplace. It sells inventory you have already catalogued — same backend, same identity — so listing there is a placement decision, not a second system.
Scout handles identification, comps, and pricing intelligence. Monthly Scout Credits: Free 100, Operations 1,000, Business 5,000, Managed 50,000. Additional packs are available on every tier.
Link to this answerFees and Payouts
What each selling method costs, what you keep, and how payouts reach your Pulltrader Wallet. Payout rates vary by channel, so each is broken out below.
How much does Pulltrader cost?
Free (100 Scout Credits/month), Operations at $49/month or $588/year (unlimited card scanning, inventory, storage, shipping, eBay listing, 1,000 credits), Business at $300/month or $3,300/year (storefront, POS, Scout agents, 5,000 credits), Managed at $3,000/month (Business, 50,000 credits, dedicated implementation team).
Selling fees depend on channel. Storefront and POS: no seller fee — your buyer covers the platform fee by default. CollectIQ: 91%–95% by seller level. External channels: 85% when Pulltrader fulfills, 100% when you fulfill yourself.
Link to this answerWhat percentage of a sale does a seller keep?
What you keep depends on the selling method, not on a single platform-wide rate.
- Storefront and point of sale: no seller fee, so you keep up to 100%. The only charge is the platform fee, which your buyer can cover.
- CollectIQ: you keep 91% to 95%, based on your seller level and annual sales volume.
- External channels through Fulfilled by Pulltrader: you keep 85%, a flat rate regardless of your level.
- External channels you manage yourself: Pulltrader takes nothing, so you keep 100%, though the external platform's own fees still apply.
- Binz: a fixed payout at each price point, the same across all seller levels.
What fees apply to storefront and POS sales?
Storefront and point-of-sale sales on Pulltrader carry no seller fee. The only per-transaction charge is the platform fee of 3.25% plus $0.40, and cash point-of-sale sales carry no fee at all.
That platform fee is the only per-transaction charge on direct sales. Your monthly plan covers platform access, and there are no separate listing fees or final-value fees on storefront and POS sales. You choose whether the buyer or you cover the platform fee.
Link to this answerCan my customer cover the platform fee?
Yes, on storefront and point-of-sale sales. You can pass the 3.25% plus $0.40 platform fee to the buyer at checkout so you keep 100% of your listed price, or cover it yourself, in which case it is deducted from your payout.
For example, on a $100 storefront sale, if the buyer covers the fee the buyer pays about $103.65 and you keep $100. If you cover it instead, the buyer pays $100 and you keep about $96.35.
Cash point-of-sale sales have no platform fee in either case.
Link to this answerHow do CollectIQ payouts work?
On CollectIQ sales fulfilled by Pulltrader, sellers keep 91% to 95% of the sale. Your exact rate is your seller level, which rises with annual sales volume.
- Level 3 (93%): about $5,000 in annual sales.
- Level 4 (94%): about $25,000 in annual sales.
- Level 5 (95%): about $50,000 in annual sales.
Levels 1 and 2 (91% and 92%) apply at entry. Levels rise automatically as you grow.
Link to this answerWhat is Binz?
Binz is a fixed-price tier on CollectIQ for low-end, fast-moving cards. Instead of a percentage, Binz pays a fixed amount at each price point, and the payout is the same across all seller levels.
- Sell for $1, earn $0.60.
- Sell for $3, earn $2.40.
- Sell for $5, earn $4.25.
- Sell for $10, earn $8.50.
The minimum sale amount is $1. Binz items can be fulfilled through Fulfilled by Pulltrader or shipped at qualifying price points using Pulltrader Post.
Link to this answerWhat do I keep when an item sells on an external channel?
It depends on who fulfills the external order.
- Fulfilled by Pulltrader: when Pulltrader packs and ships an external sale, you keep 85%, a flat rate regardless of your seller level.
- Self-managed: when you list and ship the external order yourself, Pulltrader takes nothing and you keep 100%. The external platform's own fees still apply.
External channel selling, including eBay integration, is available with Business and Managed. Shopify Connect is coming soon.
Link to this answerHow do I get paid?
Your earnings are deposited into your Pulltrader Wallet, which is powered by Stripe Connect. From the Wallet you choose how to take your money out.
- Transfer to your bank account.
- Cash out to a debit card.
- Keep a balance in your Wallet to use for future purchases.
Fulfillment, Vault, and Shipping
Choosing between self-fulfillment and Fulfilled by Pulltrader, vault storage, and how orders ship.
What is Fulfilled by Pulltrader?
Fulfilled by Pulltrader, often shortened to FBP, is Pulltrader's fulfillment service. You send inventory to Pulltrader's secure, insured vault, and when an item sells, Pulltrader stores, packs, and ships it, so you do not handle the order yourself.
FBP is used for CollectIQ orders and can also fulfill external-channel sales. Items in the vault are eligible for live show and event exposure, and you continue to manage offers and trades from your Pulltrader account.
Link to this answerShould I ship orders myself or use Fulfilled by Pulltrader?
Ship orders yourself when you want the highest payout and full control of packaging; choose Fulfilled by Pulltrader when you want Pulltrader to store, pack, and ship for you. Both options are available on Pulltrader.
- Self-fulfillment fits sellers who want maximum margin. You keep up to 100% on storefront sales and ship on your own schedule.
- Fulfilled by Pulltrader fits high volume or hands-off operations. Pulltrader stores, packs, and ships from its vault, so you never handle the post office, and it is how marketplace orders are fulfilled.
Can Pulltrader store my inventory in a vault?
Yes. Pulltrader operates a secure, insured vault. Sellers can store inventory there for Fulfilled by Pulltrader, and buyers can choose to vault items they purchase instead of shipping them.
Vaulted items can be shipped to you at any time, listed for resale on the marketplace, or transferred to other users. Sales tax on a vaulted purchase is deferred until you withdraw the item from the vault.
Link to this answerHow much does shipping cost and how long does it take?
Pulltrader ships within the United States. Marketplace shipping is priced per card based on whether items are graded or ungraded. Packages include tracking and insurance.
- Graded cards: $7.95 for the first graded card in an order, then $1.00 for each additional graded card.
- Ungraded cards: $1.31 for the first ungraded card when no graded card is present, then $0.20 for each additional ungraded card.
- Mixed orders: when a graded card is included, each ungraded card ships for $0.20 (example: 1 graded + 1 ungraded = $8.15).
Orders are typically processed within 1 to 3 business days. After shipment, First Class delivery is about 5 to 10 business days and Ground is about 3 to 7 business days. International shipping is not available at this time.
Link to this answerMarketplace and Distribution
Selling through CollectIQ, distributing to external channels, and what happens when an item sells in more than one place.
How does Pulltrader help sellers sell across channels?
Pulltrader lets you list a card once and offer it across your storefront, your point of sale, CollectIQ, Binz, and external channels such as eBay, all from one inventory record.
You decide the channel mix and the fulfillment method per item, and payout rates are clear for each channel. Reaching more buyers does not require rebuilding listings in separate tools or giving up your own brand.
Link to this answerCan I use Pulltrader if I already sell on eBay or Shopify?
Yes. Built to work alongside channels you already run. Business and Managed connect eBay to import listings and cross-list inventory back out. Shopify Connect for catalog import is coming soon.
You do not have to leave eBay or Shopify. Pulltrader adds a storefront, POS, Scout pricing, a marketplace, and optional fulfillment on top of what you keep.
Link to this answerDoes Pulltrader replace Shopify, eBay, or my POS?
Pulltrader can replace several tools, but it does not require you to drop the channels you value. Many sellers use Pulltrader for their storefront, point of sale, card-native pricing, and fulfillment, while still listing on eBay through the integration for extra reach.
It can replace a separate store builder, POS, and shipping workflow — storefront, POS, marketplace, and fulfillment all run on one inventory. Whether you keep eBay or Shopify alongside it is your choice.
Link to this answerWhat happens when an item sells on another channel?
A card is one inventory record. When it sells on one channel, that record updates — which is what prevents the same card overselling in two places. Pricing, availability, and order history stay in one place.
External platforms handle their own listing removal timing after a sale. Contact support if a specific channel is not syncing as expected.

Which integrations does Pulltrader support?
Pulltrader has live integrations with eBay, Scout Bot for Discord, and Scout for Chrome today.

- Scout Bot for Discord: card and athlete lookups after linking a free account, or in an approved server — unlimited daily use with a fair-use burst cap.
- Scout for Chrome: comps and card intelligence while you browse eBay, Fanatics, and ESPN.

For buyers: how orders, shipping, vaulting, and returns work on Pulltrader.
Can individual collectors and buyers use Pulltrader?
Yes. Buyers and collectors can use Pulltrader for free to browse the marketplace and seller storefronts and to purchase cards. Free members can also sell on CollectIQ, vault, and consign graded cards. A paid plan is for running inventory, shipping, storefront, and automation.
Collectors can browse and buy for free. Start on Free with Scout, CollectIQ selling, vaulting, and consignment. Move to Operations or Business when you are ready to manage your own inventory and listings.
Link to this answerWhat is Pulltrader's return policy?
Because of the nature of collectibles and trading cards, sales are generally final. Pulltrader does accept returns in two cases: you received the wrong item, or your item was damaged during shipping.
Standard returns must be requested within 7 days of delivery. For approved returns, Pulltrader provides a prepaid return label, and refunds are issued to your original payment method or your Pulltrader Wallet within 5 to 10 days of receiving the return. This summary is for convenience; the return policy is the controlling document.
Link to this answerWhat if my order is lost or arrives damaged?
Contact support within 7 days of the expected delivery date. Marketplace orders other than Binz include tracking and are insured based on item value, and Pulltrader works with the carrier to resolve the issue and ensure you receive your items or a full refund.
