This is a selective program for established card shops with active inventory and real sales. Applying does not guarantee acceptance.

Serious shops and a serious platform, building together.

Card shops run on a patchwork of point of sale, marketplaces, spreadsheets, and manual work. Pulltrader is building the operating layer underneath all of it, and the fastest way to get that right is to work shoulder to shoulder with operators who run real businesses.

The council is a structured way to do both at once: get a small group of shops launched and operating well on Pulltrader, and learn from their day-to-day workflows so the product is built around how card businesses actually work.

One engagement, five concrete things.

Direct founder partnership

You work directly with Ryan Gonzales, Founder and CEO of Pulltrader, throughout the 60-day engagement: onboarding, workflow review, storefront and inventory strategy, and direct problem-solving.

Hands-on implementation

We help you move from account to a working setup: branded storefront, POS, inventory import, listings, marketplace participation, fulfillment, and staff workflows.

A private owner council

A private Discord space to compare notes with the other participating owners, share implementation lessons, and discuss product feedback.

Real product influence

A structured way to submit feedback, raise operational problems, review proposed workflows, and help prioritize what the team works on. We cannot promise every request ships, but your voice is in the room.

Satisfaction protection

A clear set of expectations on both sides, reviewed together at the end of the engagement. Specific guarantee terms are shared with accepted shops and governed by the program terms.

An understandable sequence, not a vague promise.

Phase 1

Foundation

  • Understand the shop
  • Review current tools and workflows
  • Define launch objectives
  • Establish success criteria
Phase 2

Setup

  • Configure Pulltrader
  • Prepare inventory and storefront
  • Set the fulfillment and channel approach
  • Train the people who will use it
Phase 3

Operate

  • Use Pulltrader in real workflows
  • Surface issues and opportunities
  • Adjust the implementation
  • Collect structured feedback
Phase 4

Review

  • Evaluate results
  • Document what worked
  • Identify next steps
  • Confirm ongoing participation

A room of operators, not a networking event.

Everyone in the council runs a real card business, so the conversation is practical: how you priced a break, how you handled a backlog, what finally made online fulfillment click. Peer discussion is private, and what one shop shares in confidence stays in confidence.

Feedback does not disappear into a void. It is captured, discussed, and routed to the team building Pulltrader.

A strong fit, stated honestly.

Likely a good fit

  • ✓An active card business with meaningful inventory
  • ✓Current sales online, in person, or both
  • ✓Willing to adopt new workflows
  • ✓The decision-maker is involved
  • ✓Availability during the engagement
  • ✓Interested in shaping seller infrastructure

Probably not yet

  • —No active selling operation
  • —Looking only for free software
  • —No time to participate right now
  • —No authority to adopt new tools
  • —Only want a casual marketplace account

This is a partnership, not one-sided consulting.

Accepted shops are expected to participate in good faith. Concretely, that means:

  • →Complete onboarding and assign a primary decision-maker
  • →Attend the scheduled working sessions
  • →Make a genuine effort to implement Pulltrader
  • →Test the relevant workflows for your shop
  • →Provide candid, useful feedback
  • →Report operational issues as you hit them
  • →Take part in the private council discussions
  • →Keep an active Pulltrader subscription during the engagement

Founder and CEO, Pulltrader

I am working directly with this cohort because the fastest way to build the right product for card shops is to sit with operators while they run their business. You get a direct line to me during the engagement. In return, your real workflows and candid feedback shape what we build. This access is focused and finite, which is exactly why the cohort is small.

Frequently asked.

What is the Founding Shop Council?

A selective, founder-led program: a small group of card shops work directly with Pulltrader for 60 days to get operating on the platform and shape what gets built next.

Who should apply?

Established shops with active inventory and real sales — online or in person — whose owner can commit time during the engagement and give candid feedback.

How many shops will be accepted?

Intentionally small — the founder is personally involved. We review every application; it is not first-come, first-served.

What happens during the 60 days?

Four phases: understand your shop, set Pulltrader up, operate in real workflows, review results together.

Is this a beta program?

No. Pulltrader is a working platform used by sellers today. The council is a structured way to launch your shop successfully while collaborating closely with the team building it.

Is there a subscription commitment?

Yes. Participating shops maintain an active Pulltrader subscription during the engagement. The specific plan and billing terms are shown on this page when they apply to your application.

Is applying a commitment to join?

No. Applying is the first step. Being selected, accepting the program terms, and activating a subscription are separate steps, and acceptance is not guaranteed.

Can multi-location and online-only shops apply?

Yes. We work with local shops, multi-location operations, and established online card businesses.

Built for serious card shops. Selected by application.

We work with a small number of established shops at a time. If that is you, tell us about your business and what you want the next 60 days to accomplish. We review every application and follow up personally.
